An insight of the main dictators that had an impact on Spanish and Latin America's culture, society, traditions and way of living.
We will explore the history and legacy of some of the most influential dictators in Spain and Latin America while developing and practising key Spanish language skills.
Through a variety of engaging activities, participants will learn and discuss vocabulary and ideas related to dictatorships, political power, repression, human rights, resistance and historical memory. The workshop will include:
- Gap-fill activities to develop vocabulary and comprehension.
- Synonym searches to expand vocabulary and improve linguistic flexibility.
- Listening and Speaking activities and discussion to encourage participants to express opinions, compare historical contexts and debate different perspectives.
